Experience the Magic of the Ogle Center.
Maximize the attention of your event and make your special event even more memorable by holding it at one of the three spectacular halls at the Ogle Center. These venues are available for performance related events, including concerts, lectures, meetings, recitals, plays, graduations and pageants.
The Richard K. Stem Concert Hall is the largest of the Ogle Center's indoor theaters and the best acoustically-designed hall in the Louisville area. It is used primarily for performances of the Music Department, the Different Drummer Series and the Louisville Orchestra NightLites concerts. The Stem holds 500 seats including eight wheelchair locations. With only twelve rows in the orchestra and six in the balcony, each seat provides a clear, unobstructed view of the stage.
The Robinson Theater has a dramatic atmosphere that's unmatched. With its thrust stage, seven-story flyspace and hidden trap doors, this space lends itself well to the IU Southeast Theatre productions, speeches, and dance recitals. The Robinson Theater has seats for 338 patrons with three wheelchair locations in a conventional aisle seating configuration.
The Recital Hall, holding 96 seats, creates an intimate performance and presentation space for the community. Like the Richard K. Stem Concert Hall, this hall has a large projection screen and has teleconferencing capability. The Recital Hall is used for faculty and student recitals, community meetings and conferences.
The Center's lobby is also available for food-related events including wedding receptions, banquets and parties. For more information on renting the Center's lobby and for pricing information on food services, please contact the Ogle Center.
Amphitheater. For a cherished evening under the sun or stars, the Ogle Center offers an outdoor venue that seats the multitudes. The Ogle Center Amphitheater is located directly behind Knobview Hall, and can seat up to 6,000.
